The River Moy Fishing, probably one of Europe's most prolific Salmon rivers which produces about 6,000 salmon to the rod annually - approximately 30% of the national salmon catch. The importance of the region for fishing is under pinned by the great lakes Lough Conn & Arrow that yield brown trout, whilst sea angling is popular in Killala bay. The Moy Estuary is excellent for sea trout.
